Vitiligo Surgery

A number of medical management is available for vitiligo but few cases fail to respond to treatment or show partial response. Hence surgical management has been considered as an option for management of certain types of vitiligo. There are multiple types of surgeries for vitiligo management are tissue grafting (punch grafting, split thickness skin grafting, ultra thin skin grafting, suction blister grafting, hair follicle grafting etc) and cellular grafts (non cultured epidermal suspension and cultured melanocyte transplantation).
